The R22 Beta II Trainer

The Beta II is a 2-place helicopter.  It has an IO-360 Lycoming engine.

The engine is de-rated to 145 horsepower for 5 minutes and 124 horsepower maximum continuous rating, to assure a longer life and lower cost of maintenance. 

Another major enhancement is the reduced noise level of the Beta II.  The quieter helicopter features redesigned tail rotor blades.  They are fitted with noise attenuating blade tip caps that decrease flyover noise significantly.

A standard 14-volt electrical system ensures good starting performance in hot or cold weather and provides additional electrical power for optional equipment.

The Sirius Flying LLC Beta II

Sirius Flying LLC offers the Beta II for basic and advanced flight training.  The aircraft includes the following features:
