provides training in the complex San Francisco Bay Area airspace with
quick access to 4000 foot mountains for off-airport experience.
Our Discovery
Flight consists of an affordable and fun introductory flying lesson to
prospective trainee pilots. The lesson consists of a 45 minute flight. The trainee pilot is introduced to controlling
the helicopter during most of the flight. Also, the traineed pilot will experience off airport operations and autorotations. Actual flying time
accumulated during the introductory lesson applies toward the rating
being pursued by the trainee pilot.
The trainee pilot
has the
opportunity to spend 30 minutes with the instructor before and after the
flight discussing any questions the trainee pilot may have. At the end
of the flight, the trainee pilot receives a logbook in which the flight
is recorded.
This is a great cost-effective opportunity for those
who are still determining whether to pursue helicopter training. |
